Minor Arcana 1-10:

For starters, I want you to watch the video below and feel free to take notes.

I want you to keep in mind that I have had 11 years of reading tarot + 4 years in which I have done it every single day. So, I have had a lot of time to get familiar with and personally connect with the tarot.

But, when you are just starting out, what is more important than knowing and memorizing the card's meaning, is connecting your own associations and feelings to them. Taking them out everyday and just practicing building that connection.

It’s important that I don’t leave you feeling overwhelmed as it will require patience and remaining opening throughout this process (It didn’t get here overnight, so be gentle with yourself through this learning process.)

To Do’s

-Whether you want to do this visually or using a journal, ( I feel that writing or even recording (typing) helps us cement our understanding.-

  1. Take the four different elements and really dissect what associations you have with each. Observe the energy of water, earth, fire, and air and allow yourself to get really descriptive about how you perceive these different elements.

  2. Separate all 10 of the cards of each element and lay them out in numerological order and then proceed to connect each. Similar to the major arcana, let them tell you a story. You can be as descriptive as you’d like, but let yourself connect the dots and decide what you feel is the story behind the numerological order of each of the different suits.

  3. Like I said in the video, the most important things you want to take note of are,

    1. The Number & Numerology behind it.

    2. The Element

    3. What is being depicted in the card?

    4. And lastly what does this card make you feel?
